i beleive the military is one of the best ,if not the best bang for the buck on the production knife scene imho ,i have owned this knife in every variation, i would not hesitate to take this folder into a combat or survival situation remembering it is a folder and not a prybar i am hoping mr glesser will decide to produce this knife with a titanium frame lock variation i would purchase it knowing it is a spydrco backed product

best folder ever... LONG LIVE THE MILITARY, and SHOT live the laws that hinder carry of the most functional knife I've ever used!!!!

I'm more excited for the stop lock version than the framelock one. Either way the CFBG42 Military I have sure does a good job of making my other knives feel unloved. ;)

I have one too along with the S90V and G10 S30V. That BG-42 variation is sweet but alas, I keep it as a safe queen :jerkit:

Purchased a CFBG42 miltary a couple months back, and decided not to use the knife (safe queen). Instead, I got the Endura 4 with the wave feature to be used as my EDC. However I currently EDC both of them because I can't seem to leave my milie at home. Too nice of a knife !

I second the motion that Spyderco should make a new variant military with titanium frame lock (and thicker point for better penetration strength, if I'm not asking too much).

The Millie is truly the cat's meow! :):)

I have two. A CPM D-2 and a CPM S90V!

Now if we could just convince Sal to offer it in 3V and CPM M-4!:p:thumbup:

I love my Millie, but you gotta admit the byrd cara cara etc are better bang's for the buck

A titanium version would probably weigh like half a pound. The handle is very large...

I like the frame lock idea, but I also like the Spirit runs with carbon fiber handles and great blade steel.

I was a big Frame-Lock fan for awhile...not anymore. I like the Military just the way it is.
