the line of the knife is inspired by the busse
There are NO fakes or copies.
The knife is completely handmade by me and bears my signature.

I think what people are trying to tell you is that the hole in the ricasso by the heel of your blade is a trademark registered by Busse.

Not only could that potentially bring you in legal hot water with Busse, but could also hurt the sales of your blades if people get the wrong idea about your product or intention.

Think of this as free and friendly advice :)

Sorry, but I do not understand much English (use google to translate languages).

I was not aware that the hole was patented!
I apologize for having created a misunderstanding.
thanks for advised me ;)

The blade looks nice. I have used one of the original Busse's in A2, and it is a great design.

There are companies in China also copying some of Busse's designs.

There are lots of designs that are not protected by IP laws (lots of Loveless classic designs etc). Pick a non
protected design, if you need inspiration.

Or, just make one on your own. I promise the reception will be much better!

Just don't try to sell it and you'll be fine. Keep it for yourself. Everybody needs a nice knife and nobody will be offended further. Clearly you know how to make a nice knife. Take what you've learned, make some of your own and you may be successful. Don't ruin your reputation by selling that one and you will be just fine.

Good luck.
