Milled Backpacker!

Beautiful! How thick are the regular ones? How much does this guy weigh?

The first run was .080" and this second generation is .090". I changed thicknesses because that was what my supplier had plus .090" is a great combo of tough and light.

I weighed a few and they are roughly 19-21 grams. The milled one is 21 grams (3/4 ounce) As a reference my truck key weighs 15 grams...

nice work - love the silhouette, milling is clean, looks like a good size for EDC or hiking pocket carry.
unfortunately, single bevel and southpaw do not mix well.

Much appreciated!

This one is a one-off but I do make them in left hand grind.

I just checked and have one LH in stock, it is stonewashed and .080" thick. I'm asking $125 shipped with sheath.

Most chisel grinds work much better when the bevel is on the cutting hand side. ,,,But as thin as these are and since they have a back bevel they work very well in either hand.

I don't at the moment but am working on a run this week, let me see what I can do.

Nice work Daniel. Glad to see you're getting the hang of using your mill. You know where I'm at if you need anything. :)
