Please keep in mind that a Tops knife is a production blade. I do not know first hand how a Tops knife is made, but I have owned several. and it appears to me to be designed and built around what is fast and easy to make on a machine. the scales are CNC cut, and the grind lines all appear to be machine ground. If you like the quality, and feel of a Tops knife, by all means keep buying them.
All our Blades even our swords, are Cut out by HAND(not stamped from a sheet), All the profiling and shaping are done by hand, the Grinds and bevels are all done by hand, which means I (or one of my brothers) handles each blade A LOT. The handle scales are shaped with a file by hand, ensuring that each and every time you pick it up it feels awsome. The hand made process allows us to do Grind lines and blade shapes that you won't see in production knives.
All this being said, buy what you think is a good deal. I'm not trying to sound superior, it's just a different (more expensive) way to make a knife.
If you look at a lot of other custom makers, I don't think we are out of line at all considering how much time it takes to make one of our Knives or swords. and to all the collectors, and knife buyers who have owned both production, and custom blades, I think that most would agree that there is a big difference.

ok i get you and if i had money like id own a couple of your knives. but for now its hard enough to spend 200 on knife especially if u ask my girl. one day ill have my costoms and busses until then keep up the nice work

The point of this post is what? To poke him? To drag the thread off topic by putting the spotlight on him? How about just staying on topic...that would be great.
