I'm a guy who researches every thing I buy. I have an ac/DC miller 225 thunderbolt arc welder already and have been looking for a mig for thinner things.

This just popped up.
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/tls/5464823598.html

I emailed him and he's not far away. If it's in good shape anyone have thoughts on the model?

It's the same price as a new everlast 140 mig I had settled on. Chinese yes bUT it does have an year warranty.

Should I jump all over this?

That sucks because it's a good machine. I have had one for about 10 years and it was around $900 with tank and regulator.

Scratch that he sold it to someone else even though I said I'd take it for cash. Oh well.

I had some folks make a big deal about paying cash.
I never understood that.
I'm not accepting hockey cards, cash is your only option.

:)

Good deals are like that, you have to be first inline.
I've held things for craigs list folks, and those are the ones who didn't ever show up.
Now it's first one paid.

Numbers, true that!

Man, you found out what happens when you ask for a forum opinion on a deal good enough that you should have just jumped on it. I've seen it happen many times. Better luck next time! I like Millermatic migs and would recommend them for sure. I use a 250 a LOT.
