Anyone know if you can order the chrome Millie clip that's on the sprint run Millies from Spyderco to replace the as Archman says "black leech" clip that is stock?
 
Hey. I think it is the same clip just not painted. I just polished the black off one of my Military clips and it looks identical. I hope it is made of stainless not chromed, maybe someone could tell us. I think chrome would peel off at some point.

If you want to take the black off just polish it. I took the clip off the knife and used this stuff called Semichrome and an old t-shirt. Took about 5 minutes. I was surprised at how easy it came off. I really like the way it looks. Just go easy over the spyder if you want the outline of it to stay black in the grooves.
 
1000 grit sandpaper will take it off in about 2 minutes and it gives the clip that machined look instead of chrome.
 
I sandpapered a couple of my clips. I like the brushed look a lot better then the ragged black.
 
I had one bead blasted. Came out with a nice, matte gray finish similar to that of a stripped titanium clip off of the Salt series.
