Millie Steel.........What Kinds Of Steel Do You Have In Your Millies

S30V

I really like Spyderco's S30V. I've used and sharpened my Millie a bunch. The S30V takes a very keen edge, and has held up through all the fish/deer/cardboard/rope I've sent it's way.

I have no millie at the moment. About 6 months ago I realized I needed one so I waited for the next sprint and put a pre-order in on the CTS-XHP Military. I wanted my first to be special. :D

A Spyderco Military in CPM-3V would be sick!

4 x S30v (Fluted Ti, Ti, Orange, Black, Digi)
1 x BG42
1 x ATS34
1 x D2
...Looking for an M4 and S90V....
If I could have a "special" Millie, I'd go for RWL34 blade and Micata Handle...

Just got an M4 off the exchange- My first and only, will look at the newer exotics that come out - easier on the wallet. Now that I have found these so late, I will have to start giving up the extra Busse's and Swamp Rats.

Would be great if anything in a Micarta came up, also will await an M390(if not Spydie, then surely KW will bring one out) or a CTS 20CP/204P. Anything Millie actually.

Cheers,
Guy

i have "special" one in the works, my "user" S90V already has polished scales so as soon as i receive a new set of screws from spyderco i'll send it to a local knifemaker with a lot of talent to have the scales rounded and finely bead blasted and probably a slight blade mod if he feels like grinding a swedge or something like that on S90V ... can't wait.

which has stronger tip ? and stronger lock up ? spydie military s30v or spydie para military 2 s30v ? i can only afford one which is why im asking.

2 s30v
1 CPM D2
1 CPM M4
And soon to be 2 in M390

I may pull the trigger soon on an s90v.

They're about the same. If you're looking for a strong tip I suggest getting something else. The Military and Para are good knives because of the thin tip and distal tapered blade, if you are going to pry with your knife this may not be the best choice.
