Hey guys, Milos Gnida is an up and coming maker from Slovakia. You can see his website here: http://ferrarius.sk/nozepredaj.html. He handforges his knives from 19191 (Czecho-Slovak) blade steel, except for his damascus patterns, and applies a differential heat treat to his blades. He builds all his knives by hand, shapes the wood handles, and builds the leather sheaths himself as well. His leather work is as awesome as his knifemaking talent.
This knife is one of his best designs in my opinion. The handle wood is ziricote, blade is forged 19191, differentially heat treated, with leather lanyard original to the knife. The package of the knife and sheath together is awesome; he built them to be a total complement of one another, and they fit perfectly. It's hard to obtain his work as he is across the pond and also very busy, so this is a good chance to own one of his great knives. Blade length is 4.75" and OAL is 9". Asking $350 --> $330 --> $315 --> $299 --> $285 --> $275 --> $265 --> $255 --> $235 --> $225 shipped!!! You guys are CRAZY!!
