Up for sale is a New Unused Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works custom forged hand axe.
Blade is 5 1/2 inches and 4 1/4 inches wide, 1/4" thick with convex zero edge grind.
Hand forged 5160, differentially tempered with a black parkerized finish.
Handle is a very nice tight grained Black Walnut, and is retained with two brass pins and epoxy.
Overall length is 15 inches.
Comes with the rivited leather blade cover shown.
Note there is a small spot on the blade near the edge (see pic) that was there when I got it, but it could be polished out.
