mini afck or mini mt socom manual

I have a full sized AFCK and full sized Socom. I have found almost nothing I dislike about the Socom, but there are several flaws with my AFCK-- it comes open in pocket, for one. The AFCK is a good knife, but I am in love with the Socom--if you can get the Microtech for the same price as the Benchmade, go for it.

I have a Mini-AFCK and also a Mini-Socom Auto. Definately get the Mini-Socom. Microtech knives are much higher quality than benchmade IMO 
Fit, Finish and Microtech's 154CM holds an edge much longer than my ATS-34 of my AFCK. The only things I don't like about my Mini-Socom is the high riding clip, about 3/4 inch sticks out of my pocket while the Mini-AFCK rides much lower. Benchmades clips are also black as opposed to the pewter grey of my Microtech. I perfer the subdued look of a black knife rather than the grey.

Mini-Socom!
I have an M-SOCOM-A tanto and it's absolutely incredible. I only have one Benchmade folder, (Mini-Stryker) and I really like it too, but there is truly no comparison in terms of build quality. Also, the Strkyer has a typical thick BM edge that is a bitch to sharpen, and wasn't really sharp at all out of the box. The Mini-Socom, on the hand is like a little razor. The edge bevel is wide and highly polished. I don't carry mine around for obvious reasons but yes, the clip placement is a little annonying. If/when I get the clip point manual version I will probably just drop it into a pocket for carry as opposed to clipping it.

I just want to say that I once had a mini socom and was disapointed. Believe me when I say it is really MINI! Other than that, quality was excellent. Just too small.
