Mini Bushman Knife?

Any examples where you've put the Mora against the mini-bushman?

This knife is much heartier than I expected. I have a newer bushman and I more understand what so many people were talking about when they said the bushman regressed some in overall quality.

Great little knife. I am happy that I finally have one.

Just curious, are you talking about the mini bushman or the regular?

just in use. I have never entered my blades into a knife olympics. I have 2 Mora knives: a triflex and a clipper. Great knives, but the Mini Busman is a bit heartier and stronger. It is a well done little knife. It has a lot of belly, which lends itself to a multitude of utility tasks.

I know that the fact that it had been discontinued has caused a bit of a premium in price-but there has to be a level of quality there-as there have been many discontinued, cheap knives throughout history that did not gain heightened interest after their run came to an end.

lol, Here is a task you can tell me how your Mora would perform in comparison to a mini bushman. See how well you could lash it to a long stick to cut fruit high up out of a tree. How much fruit could you cut from 10+ feet up in 5 minutes?

I live in AZ, and regularly stick a regular Bushman on a pole to cut citrus down from up high. I have no doubt that the mini can do it as well.
 
This might be a bit off topic but has anyone seen the new(er) 2013 Bushman. Looks like they upgraded the sheath.

I saw it. Some type of had plastic with a firesteel loop. Looks cool but I wish there was some lashing holes and slots along the sides to give some mounting options and for attaching other things to the sheath.
 
I managed to pick up one of the older thicker ones with a normark sheath, then I was worried if I lost it (again) the newer thinner ones wouldn't fit in the sheath, so I found another old one. :)
 
I have had six at one time but gave them to friends. Now only three left along with the regular and bowie!
I love the mini! Wish they still made them. Excellent little knife.
