Mini Canadian alternatives?

I am exploring the idea of replacing my Mini Canadian with something of a similar size but pointier tip. I love having a pocket fixed blade, but I have come to realize that for such a knife a point would be more useful to me than a lot of belly.

I have looked at the other Bark River offerings, but I am curious to hear from folks who have used the Mini C and others firsthand.

I'm sure the folks at BRKT could knock the spine down so its flat, giving the mini a bit more point. Probably take some belly off too.

i had a min-canadian a while back, but ended up parting with it... the tip definately could have been a little pontier... but i never saw it as a problem... i also have a mikro-canadian. it's one of my favorite EDC blades...

have you looked into the little creek...

I have the little creek and the mini Canadian and I am leaning towards the Pro scalpel II. So many to choose from, so little money.:D

Have you thought a bout a custom little knife like what your are wanting. If you draw it up I would sure try to make it for you.
I just did this up for me to day for my little belt carry PSK. I did not put handles on this one.

This little knife is just a smaller version of the knife I make called the pathfinder. LOL I have been calling this one the Baby Pathfinder to my wife Kathy.

I would also recommend looking at the ProScalpel II = I think it will be darn close to what you're looking for.

If you're willing to go custom, Bryan will definitely set you up with a great knife. He's even built a couple of my wild designs, so I'm sure he could tackle about anything you could come up with.

Stomper (JK Knives) has lately been making some great looking small knives as well.

You may also want to check out the RAT Cutlery Izula. Great knife. Plenty of blade, good point, and fits nicely in the pocket. You can also get them in tactical pink :D

I have the little creek. Its come in handy. It is little tho. Much smaller than I really realized looking at them online. I had to put a lanyard on it to really utilize the knife the way I do.

The Little Creek looks slightly smaller than the Mini Canadian, yet it has a bit more blade.

I'm thinking more and more about the Pro scalpel, but I wish it were in A2. That Mini Tusk looks excellent too.

I thought the Imp was bigger; I'm sticking to the little ones for easy pocket carry (in an Adirondack sheath from KSF).

THe EWOK may be a contender.

Also, what is the overall length of the Koster forum neck knife?
