Mini cyclone thumbstud

I maybe getting Mini Cyclone ZDP in trade, and the previous owner removed the thumbstud. I understand these are pressed on? how or what would I need to put the stud back in? or is it even possible?

Easy:
1. Piece of hardwood w/a hole drilled in it just a little larger than the stud's dia.
2. Another piece of hardwood to act as a "punch".
3. Place blade over hole in wood, place stud into blade's hole. Hammer stud home with second piece of hardwood as a punch.

I've used a C-clamp and a socket. The piece of wood with the hole drilled
in it sounds better then the socket. It's not difficult at all. Just line it up nice
and start twistin'.

Thanks for the info...I ended up passing on the trade. I guess the owner, prior to the guy I was going to trade with, put on a baked black finish on the scales...that was the deal breaker. Now back to looking for another Cyclone ZDP trade.
