Wouldn't a through-tempered blade be ideal for a custom swedge grind? Or perhaps some madman could turn it into a full double-edged mean machine. The through-tempered Battle Rat, it gets you coming and going.

I know I'd like three inches of swedge. I'm just wondering if the rest of the blade needs serrations or saw teeth cut into it. What do you think?
