Mini Griptilian blade switch. s30v for cm154

Ill keep this short and simple.

I bought a red mini Griptilian from REI that only comes in s30v half serrated. I want a plain edge blade on it because I dislike combo blades.

I have a buddy with a new mini grip with plain edge 154cm blade willing to swap blades with me. I had to pay extra for the REI exclusive and I believe that may be because of the s30v blade on it. So now I am conflicted.

Is it worth trading blades? Or should I just suck it up and keep the combo blade?
 
I'd keep the serrations. I dislike knives with serrations as well but my Snody Gravitator is one helluva work knife with its serrations! They really do come in handy and you never know when you might need them. And also trading an S30v blade isnt worth the regular 154cm in my opinion.
 
Some people dont like em and I understand. I still sort of wish I had a PE (Plain-Edge) Gravitator but the serrations are really good for cutting cardboard to shreds and zipties as well. Test them out for a few days and se how they work. They dont dull out as fast as a regular PE and stay very sharp for a goood while!
 
I fit was me I would switch. S30V is and upgrade to 154cm. And I dislike serrations. That is just me.
