and it arrived today!! definitely looking forward to using this one. I really like the sheepsfoot blade already. this is gonna take a beating at work.

I know I didn't start this thread, but thanks for all the recommendations for the sheepsfoot blade. I had no intentions of trying this blade until I read this thread.

IMO, worst decision Benchmade ever made was to go to the Spydie-hole instead of the oval hole they used to have on the sheepsfoot grip. Having used holes, studs, waves, and ovals, my favorite is the stud, followed by the oval. HOWEVER, except for the hole, I am of the opinion that the sheepsfoot blade is the superior user-blade.
 
Have a tanto Mini --the only reason I bought it because it was on clearance at Midway--carried it a couple times but its not nearly as useful as a drop point.
