Can anyone post a pic of a Mini Grip next to a BM707 Sequel?

A couple more:

I prefer the Mini Grip/Mini RSK as the thumb ramp makes the knife feel bigger in my hand when using it. With the studs a little further out from the body when the knife is closed, it is also a little easier to thumb open.

Thanks for the info and pics. That's exactly what I was looking for. I'm still thinking I'll get the Sequel because it looks to be a bit more compact without loosing any blade length on the Mini Grip.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like there's a lot of mini grip fans. Very tough, practical little knife.

I'm the opposite of some of you: I hate the sheepsfoot blade shape. I carry my RSK Mini Griptilian with a plain edge black blade in S30V for EDC. I got the shooepsfoot first because I really like the hole for opening and have never comfortable with a thumb stud. My dislike of the sheepsfoot blade design made me want a different knife after a few weeks. With as smooth as the action was I decided to give the thumb stud version a try. I now own the RSK, the Cabela's Mimi Grip with a D2 blade, and a plain edge in 154. I don't miss the hole at all, the Axis lock makes the blade action as smooth as I've ever seen.

Is that seriously a damascus blade on the Grip? if so whered you get it? cause that and a WilkinsGrip would be my ultimate EDC :D

The Mini-Grip is the most perfect edc pocket knive I've ever found. Pair it with a Ron Ryder slip and you have a marriage made in Heaven...

I have what I consider my "Ultimate EDC"!
Ritter Grip in M2 steel with WilkinsGrips!
This knife truely has the whole package.
When the mini WilkinsGrips come out, I'll have my smaller "Ultimate EDC".

I don't have one but now I want one more than before. Anyone know where I can get one relatively cheap?

I'll have to totally agree with what G.E. Lee said.
Ever since I first got my Mini Grip with the oval hole several years ago, it has been mostly my EDC. It get that slot above my Sebbies, other Benchmades, and other folders I have.
It just has the right feel to me.......... ;)

There is a seller on Ebay that sells Damascus blades for Griptilians, that's the only place I have seen them, not sure but I think he makes them himself.

I carry my Mini Grips much more often than I carry my Small Seb. The Seb is very well made, but the Mini Grip is a more practical tool. I'd sell my Seb before I sold my Mini Grips.

I bought a 556 yellow mini grip about a month ago. I bought it for work, to replace my byrd hawkbill.

After using it for a little while, I am finding it gets lost a little in my hand trying to open it. I wonder if the hole instead of the thumb studs would make it easier.

Its a great little knife- it feels solid, nice blade, and I even like the feel of the plastic scales, which I was surprised about. But I think its just a little small for me. The full size grip i traded for feels great, and it is going to force me to put the 556 up on the market.

It's a little bigger than I wanted in my EDC, but it is so nice it is the only thing I carry... every day.

the grip is wonderful. i have the HG one. just wish i had the drop point one instead, a bit nicer of a blade profile for me.

I had the 556 clipped to my pocket all weekend. Here's a short list of projects it helped with today:

break down 6 cardboard boxes
open 2 gig memory card blisterpack
punch foil on 1 gallon windsheild washer fluid
trim bristles on 2" angle cutting brush
slit lots of plastic bubble wrap for easier disposal
poke holes in 10 potatoes before backing (washed first, of course).

Nice knife!
