mini griptillian axis lock play?

I don't know what this is called exactly, but when i put my fingers on both sides of the axis lock and i wiggle it (not disengage the lock), the axis bar wiggles quite a bit, is this normal? I'm not sure as I'm new to axis locks. :confused:
 
yeah a little of side to side play is normal... it's the vertical blade play that would concern me more.

You mean the Axis bar wiggles so that it isn't exactly perpendicular to the tang? Yep, they do that. I won't disengage on its own, though, so no worries.
 
Well, your question is already answered, but I can add a second confirmation that it is completely normal for the axis bar to wiggle a little.
