That guy with IG in the second photo looks afraid to try the food.:p
He doesn't want his face to melt off.

Actually that was the beans and blood sausage. Both sweet and spicy. He (Jeff Springer) liked it. So do I -- IG is a really good cook!

Every time I see more pictures of IG, I'm more and more scared to actually meet him. But I still am kinda eager to. It's like wanting to see bigfoot. You want to, but you know he's going to kill you.

I have no doubt that IG can whomp up some serious groceries. I regret that I was not there to sample it. Apologies to Jeff Springer, I have never met him or anyone else up there. I'd love to have a chance to visit and meet all of you, but alas I am too far to travel that distance...at least for now. I have sent IG a little bit of habanero peppers of late (16 pounds) and I have planted a small crop of 24 plants to continue the habanero connection to MA. I envy you, Dan to have the opportunity to be there. So far as it is, I can only send the send the produce that way. Cheers.

You got it wrong. Don't envy those guys, pity them!

Mike, IG will take good care of you. Just don't turn your back on him or his dogs and you should do fine. If all else fails, make sure you have an unopened can of beer on you at all times. If he charges, just toss the beer in just about any direction. He'll chase after it and soon forget all about you. Oh, I forgot, you're too young to have a can of beer on you. Hmmm, just keep working on making your knife, damascus, billet, whatever and you'll be ok. IG just LOVES it when people are working on knife making stuff. It's only when you screw up, waste materials, disagree with him, make something that looks like sh_t, don't eat his food (including his HT relish), aren't nice to his dogs, etc, that he turns mean. That's when the can of beer comes in handy. Whoops, there I went again.

I don't care what the girls and neighbors say about IG, he's good people! Heck, I almost had to rent a trailer to haul all the stuff I got from him and his friends while I was there. (But don't tell him. I don't think he knows it was me who took the stuff.) ;)

If you ever get there, you'll have an absolute BLAST! And learn a bunch.

The first pic is of my son and me.:eek:If you Bubbas couldn't tell. HEHEHEHEHE!!!;)
Thanks for posting pic's Dan.
