I've just made five of these hatchets - all hand made in 01 carbon steel in my workshop. There is extensive filework along the spine. The scales are made from Oak. The overall length is 8.25 inches and it comes with a hand made, hand tooled leather sheath/cover. They are nicely balanced and are a powerful tool in the field. It is handy for cutting up game, preparing food and light wood work when a knife won't quite do it. $95 each. First come first served.

Thanks. I was really pleased how they turned out. I tested one up at my week last weekend - made rabbit stew - ideal for chopping rabbit feet and heads off... and cut up some hazel too. It is pretty powerful yet precise. Went through it all like butter and looked good too...the bushcrafters in the UK seem to like them...

Thanks. I'm playing around with a few ideas like that - snakes, dragons, sea serpents, mice running around the spine. I might even try lots of eyes looking out of the dark...

Just under 9 inches long overall. The cutting edge just under 4"...they work really well...and look cool too.

All gone now. Will make some more another day...off to work on my bushcrafter with firesteel - all in one sheath. This will be a bit plainer than most of my stuff.

Thanks for your business.

I will make some more of these another day...they sold very quickly. Thanks...

Pleased to say these are now on the way guys...thanks for your patience! The sheaths took a bit of playing around with to get right. They are beautiful now - functional and pretty...if I say so myself! Hope you guys who bought them like them...
