IMG_0657.jpegAfter Spirit of the blade this weekend I’m down to 2 of my mini huntsman’s in stock. Both of these are Magnacut stainless steel hardened to 62-63 with richlite handles. These have a 2.5” chisel ground blade with a 3” handle and are 3/32” at the spine. The first one is a black richlite and the second is a nice blue richlite, both of these come with a JRE leather pocket sheath. Priced at $180 plus shipping, here are links to these two on my website which can take any cards and PayPal. The first is for the black handle and the second is the blue, I also have several of this model in magnacut and nitro-v in progress that are ready for handles so if these don’t catch your eye comment what handles you would be interested in and I could get one set aside for you.

I have to ask, how effective is a chisel grind? Easy to sharpen since only one bevel?
Slightly faster/easier to sharpen. Lower overall edge angle with the same support behind the edge. Chisel grinds also bite in a bit deeper to the cut partially because of the edge angle and because of how the material is separating while being cut it tends to push the knife down flat.
