This is a new model I've been working on. It's small enough to fit in a back pocket, but still hits hard. This particular model has an overall length of 7.875" and weighs 13.7 ounces.
These are completely handmade by me.
The core is constructed from steel cable, which I believe is the best choice for a blackjack. It has enough flex to have a dead blow effect, but isn't "floppy". The amount of flex is perfect for the size and this model hits incredibly hard! The head is made from steel and lead and the pommel is copper. The unit is near indestructible.
The blackjack has been treated with epoxy to ensure that it never unravels. This also increases the durability of the unit and is the same process I use on my Japanese influenced knives. (Paracord holds up much better than leather if you're training with a heavy bag.)
This is a great modern blackjack that is built to last!
