Mini maglite upgrade

A note here on the Streamlight Twin Task models. I have a single CR123 battery model that has the 3 LEDs and the single incandescent in the middle. When the battery nears depletion, the incandecent bulb will no longer be capable of producing light while the 3 LEDs are still plenty capable. This, of course is due to the LEDs nature of being able to suck the most juice out of the battery. For those who prefer the incandescent, it will become a minor inconvenience if you still want to run the LEDs. Otherwise a fresh battery is called for.

Untrue. Bad things happen to good lights, as I once had happen with my old model E2. Clip was garbage and it fell out of my pocket onto concrete from a whopping 3'. Light ceased to function until I got a new lamp for it. LEDs basically eliminate the shock problem from the equation.

Forgot to mention I've also got the TerraLux (I think--it's been a while since I got it). Not bad but I prefer the Opalec.

dont drop the lite lol
