what is it with knives and flashlights ? my wife asked me and I laughed and said it was a guy thing 
everytime we go to a store and if they sell knives & flashlights I am there checking them out.... LOL

Flashlights - make light
You forget the third part of the trifecta....lighters. Cutting stuff, lighting stuff, and burning stuff. Doesn't get much more fun that that.
