Mini Manix lockbar spring

STR...

Is it the same spring that is found in the E4/D4 knives, or does the Manix series have a different length and shape. I thought I'd ask you before I start taking knives apart looking for a new Manix spring. Thanks for your help.
 
Big as that one is its probably a bit stronger than the others in their line up. I don't think its the same as the one in either of the two you mentioned because they are not the same class of heavy duty. I'm not even sure its the same spring in the Manix and Mini Manix. What happened to the original??

Have you called Spyderco to see if they'd provide one to you?

I could make one for it easy enough. Its helpful to have the knife though.

Nothing wrong with the original. I am just collecting a small batch of replacement parts for the Manix. It's the OCD talking :) I'll give Spyderco a call and thanks for the offer.
 
If you find out if its the same spring for several knives please come back and let me know.
