Believe it or not, I still have more khukuris to post from the last shipment! Here are some funny ones that were included. Marya suggested that I name them "Mini-Me" and "Micro-Me." Okay, that's what they are.

The smaller one actually has a brass colored blade, and is therefore good for nothing more than letter-opening and "I've got the smallest khukuri contest" winning

The mini-me seems to actually be a functional knife (though not the best thing for heavy chopping or large pryings)

I only have 3 of the 9 inch one and 2 of the "micro-me."

I guess they'd make great little holiday gifts. The mini-me is $15.00 and the micro-me is $10.00 (shipping included).

If there's an interest, I can get more. Believe it or not, there is still "more to come." I just want to space offerings out so the forum doesn't start to look like one big yard sale.

Craig,

The 9" "mini me" will go well with my mini jungle. Will take one if available. Thanks.

Sing: You got it. One is on the way tomorrow.

Chris: That's all I had - Sing got the last one. Unless you want one of the micro-me's, I'll put you down for a mini-me when the next batch comes in.

Craig.

Craig you know what you have to do now don't you? A mini-WWIII!!! Change that handle for g10 and slim it down for concealed carry and go to a kydex sheath and then throw in a blade rigger associate shoulder harness. Wow what a "tactical" cult knife!! Think about it. I bet youd sell a few.

Wow!! Nice little Khuk. The Mini-Me.........

Craig, Marya hit right on the mark with that name. What a sweet little thing. I bet it would make a great hunting/skinning knife.

Then again, coyote's suggestion for concealed carry appeals to me too. I see great possibilities there.

Phillip: Your on the list - with about 10 other people! I never thought this would be a hit. As for the mini-WWIII, folks: I'm about drained with the WWIII project!!!

Great idea, but I think I'll table that one for a while. I'll post a thread about this later, but some of the obstacles that we are overcoming are:

1) How to shape the slabs ON the knife without ruining the finish (we're going to temporarily fix the slabs to the knife, grind them, and then remove them for bluing.

Hello,
I am new to the GH forum and was looking through the topics. I am usually on the HI forum but I love any solid blade. I am interested in getting my name on the list for a $15, 9" mini-me if that is still possible. By the way, what type of guarantee comes with one of these? Does it come with a sheath included? I didn't know how to contact you (Craig Gottlieb) other than posting a reply on the forum. Is there an e-mail address I can contact you at for this type of a request? I didn't see one listed. Could you please post a reply with your e-mail address on it, so that I can contact you and send you any pertinent information?
Thank you

C.Augusto,

Craig moves around a lot and may not see your posting until tomorrow. To expedite your quest for the Mini-Me (I know how you feel, I want one of these myself when they come in.) I've put links to Craigs e-mail address and website below.

Craig I have to go with coyote on the WWWIII MINI ME. Sounds like a great knife. Blade finish would not be a selling point for me. What ever worked. If I did not like I would glass bead it my self. The cary system and handle material would be the selling point for me. These along with the quality we have come to expect would be awesome!

Craig when you are done with the WWIII concept I would like to persue the WWIII minime. I think you would sell a few. The ideal set up in my mind is with micarta handle that is somewhat flattened along the sides at the butt end so as to lie flat when carried. A good kydex sheath with a removable clip and the ability to carry it upside down. I would then get a bladerigger associate harness (about 50 dollars but very much worth the money) you would have an awesome tactical carry knife.

Yeah, the Mini-me needs some design improvement if it's to be considered by me a "real" khukuri (the mini-me is NOT full spike tanged). I guess that for people who really want to use and abuse their "small" khukuri, I'd suggest the mini-jungle. Sure, the mini-me cuts and cuts well (forged blade and all), but if you had to use it to pry, there's no way I could safely guarantee that the handle wouldn't pop off - until I take one apart. And since they've been such a hot commodity, I didn't have one to do it with.
