steel - 52100 carbon heat treated to Rc 59 - 60
blade finish - hand rubbed scotchbrite
grind - full flat
scales - very dark desert ironwood
mosaic pins and lanyard hole - 3/16"
sheath -right hand leather made by me

There are a few very small natural voids in the wood that were to small to fill which can be seen in the outdoor photos.

(something different) The tang is tapered, but instead of tapered from the ricasso to the butt, it is tapered from the spine to the bottom of the tang.
