Sweet little knife and did anyone notice the edge on that knife? Of course, all of Robert's knives are SHARP.

I carried it from 400 to 600 to 1000 grit....etched......1000 grit......etched....etc....etc......several times to get what I was looking for. Finished by using MAAS (about the same as Simichrome) several times.

Still didn't get exactly what I wanted. The hamon is not as pronounced on the other side.

I guess I need to go live with Don Hanson for a year or two.

The blade is .160 thick on the spine at the front of the handle. It tapers from there to the tip.
