This knife will destroy veggies. This is a popular design in any kitchen, but it's usually 7-8 inches. I prefer the design as a 4 inch utility/prep knife. Flso why buy a larger nikiri, for only slicing and dicing. This one also comes with the knifemakers wife's approval. This is her favorite design and she has tried every model of mine.

Heat treat- Bos
Hardness- 61rc
Grind- flat convex (slight convex towards edge)
Finish- handrub to 400 grit- rounded spine and heal
Handle- 5 piece hidden tang handle
