"Mini" Navy Seal Black Knife

"Mini" version of Ox Forge Navy Seal "Black" knife. "Black" meaning it has no markings whatsoever, completely sterile. Designed by custom knife maker Charles Ochs and manufactured by his company Ox Forge. Made to order for Navy SEAL teams in Florida as early as 1985. Used by Army Rangers, Special Forces, Marine Recon, FBI, U.S. Border Patrol, DEA, etc. Has been used, carried and sharpened. I believe blade is made of 440C steel even though not marked. It's just that 440C was the type of steel used when these knives were made. Bead blast finish blade is a tiny bit off center towards presentation side. Finish shows minimal wear. When I received the knife, it was dull and at some point, whoever sharpened it created a slightly uneven bevel. I have sharpened it going from coarse diamond stones to ultra fine ceramic stones. It's is now sharp as sh*t. Knife has not been used or carried since. Lock up is solid and secure although as with most of these, there is a bit of blade play. This is well documented. Hard anodized 6061 aluminum handles have a couple of superficial surface scratches. Nothing major. Excellent automatic action. Blade fires out fast, smooth and effortlessly. No functional issues. Knife ONLY. No box/papers. I'm pretty sure the original hardcore owner didn't give 2 sh*ts about box and papers. PLEASE NOTE: these knives were designed without a pocket clip. However, there is a lanyard hole. The full size versions sell for upwards of $500 from a Custom Knife dealer in Arizona. Don't take my word, check for yourself. PTIFF
