Mine arrived today and I'm VERY impressed.
It's the only Spyderco I've ever seen that comes without a clip.
Also, it's the only knife in their line that takes two hands to open. Maybe some of you can open it one-handed, but the hole in the blade is way too small for my thumb.
This is not a problem or a complaint as I plan to use this little dude and wear it daily.
The fit and finish is excellent. No play in the blade at all.
For those unfamiliar with this knife, here are the specs.
Blade- ATS-34
Length- 1"
Handle- 1 3/4" Titanium
LOA- 3 1/8"
The only concern I had was the size of the neclace itself.Too small and it has a clasp.
I replaced the original with a stainless steel-no clasp neclace that came with a Medic Alert medallion.
To me, it looks better and I'm not worried about it breaking and losing the knife.
This knife will be with me 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. It will mainly be used as a tactical package/letter opener/cuticle/splinter remover.
It will also serve as a test bed for Marine Tuf Cloth because it will get wet and sweaty.
I'll post again in six months with a report on how stain resistant it is.
