Mini prybar?

That's one of the reasons I carry an Izula. I hope to never have to pry with it but if a situation arises where I must, I know it should do the trick. Plus it doubles as a great backup knife :) .

I think you meant to say " That's one of the reasons I carry a BK-14." Right?:)

I still wish for a mini bk3
Took me a minute to find it but here it is.

My most frequently carried knife is a GEC Conductor (slipjoint) with a bail. I keep a Gerber Shard and a TEC clip clipped to the bail, and this little package clips to my pocket edge and hangs inside the pocket nicely. I don't use the Shard often, but then again I don't use the knife often. But when I need to pry, it's a damn site better than prying with my knife (which I've done enough in the past, and done enough damage to knives that I like, that even I smartened up). I think the Shard is an extremely well thought out tool and intend to get several more.

mini pry bars are kinda cute... most of them seem to thick to me (like the shard) but that can be fixed with some precision grinding action? at which point, you might as well just make what you want from stock, and then heat treat it with a torch/oil? mmm.

as for widgy bars and $13... just order MORE STUFF, and spread the cost with friends.

Sorry for bumping a slightly stale thread, but I thought it might be helpful. For those struggling with the shipping for Widgy bars, you can also purchase them from other web stores for a lot less shipping. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link (deal spotting or no?) but the place I found uses first class shipping at cost, so I was able to buy two and a couple can openers for only $3 and change in shipping. If a Mod gives me the thumbs up I'll share the store.

I recently ordered a mini pry widgy from a well known auction site that gave me free shipping. I had planned on getting one for a while to complete my keychain EDC. I really wouldn't want to unleash a BK9 in the office to pry up a staple from a stack of papers, the screams would be something to hear though, I might do that sometime just to see the reaction! hahaha

The website that sells the widgy originally has some good stuff but their shipping costs are totally outragous, might as well just mark up the product and keep the shipping to its real cost.
