How many of you guys carry small prybars-whether Atwood or Countycomm or whatever?

I'd like to hear how often you guys find a use for them and what those uses are? Anyone use one daily?

Feel free to post pics. I like these little things but haven't ever felt like I needed one--talk me into it :)

I have one from countycomm. I bought mine after seeing pics of it in many different threads and the owners telling how useful they are. Well I've had mine residing in the little coin pocket in my jeans for the past 6 months and I have not found a single need for it. I was surprising since I have a labor intensive job and thought it was going to be a real time saver.

I'm not too upset though as they're not too expensive. I know I've wasted money on worse things. I still keep it in my coin pocket day after day in hope that I'll finally find a use for it. I still think deep down that it'll come in handy sometime so if you have a few extra bucks I say go for it.

I EDC a TAD Gear Skeleton key. I've used the drivers on it a few times and the prytool to remove some staples.

Also, shouldn't this be in Gadgets and Gear?

Had an Atwood, lost it in Afghanistan. Rarely, if ever used it.

Bought several of the CountyComm ones. Like them, great price. Gave one to my SGT who though his knife was a pry bar, guess he used it some.

Can't honestly say that I used any of them much, one in my desk drawer now that I don't think I've used in the last 9mns since I moved.

Great idea/concept and I'm not bummed about the money spent on the CountyComms (Atwood one bums me out some since I lost it and never really used it).

For others it may be great though.

I have a little one from County Comm and I carried it for a while but it scratched the other stuff in my pocket pretty bad. I didnt think I used it enough either so now it sits in a box in my closet. I also had a Mini Son of Prything that was cool as hell but I gave it to my brother cuz he loves Atwood stuff.

I get the same widgy bar(and wrap it myself using the video on their site) from countycomm and it's like $5.

I have a couple CountyComm ones. Great little tools. This is more of a "Gadgets and Gear" thread though. :)

Prybars aren't knives so I moved this to G&G. :D

I've got an Atwood I've only really used twice, but both times I really needed it. A County Comm would have done the job, probably. I keep a small STR titanium prybar in my gear bag, too.

A lot of us can't tell the difference, it seems.

I carried this Atwood for a long time, but finally gave it up as I tried to minimize my EDC.

I just bought a micro widgy from county comm. I braided three strands of nylon waxed leather thread then wrapped the bar in that for a very tacky grip.

I work around pumps and motors often. The little bar really gets into tight places:) Fun lil' $5 toy:D

I have the medium sized one from countycomm on my keys. It doesn't get used everyday but it does get used often. I mainly use it to remove staples as well as cut the tape on packages so I don't have to clean the residue off my EDC blade. It's pretty small and unobtrusive so I don't feel that carrying it is an issue.

What I bolded was its primary use for me. :)

Country Comm is very close by but they won't let me pick one up...they said they have to ship. I'd totally rock one for 5 bucks, but I just can't do another 8 bucks to ship 4 blocks.

I have a Shard on my keys and I have yet to use the pry bar thing. But I have used the screwdrivers and the bottleopener :D
