mini recon 1, zancudo or tenacious

How pocket friendly is the Tenacious? Would I be able to carry it in the back pocket of my jeans or cargo shorts with my wallet? And how deep is the clip?
 
Haven't handled a Recon 1. The Zancudo and Tenacious are very different knives. Between those two, at least, I like the Zancudo more. You did mention the Delica, which is one of my favorite Spyderco's (behind only the Caly3 CF). Needless to say, if you include the Delica in the running, I would very highly recommend that. Just to muddy the waters though... The RAT-1 and RAT-2 are often compared to the Tenacious and Zancudo respectively. The RATs are in the same price range (actually a bit cheaper) than the Spyderco and ESEE. If you do prefer the larger sized knives, there's also the Endura, which is close in price to the Delica.

Here are some of the various knives mentioned. For a compact EDC knife, of this lot, I'd pick the Delica by a large margin. If you want a larger blade, the Endura would be my top pick from these, although the RAT-1 is not far behind.

I love my recon 1 tanto it can definitely take a beating. The tenacious is one of those knives that are so cheap and great for the price I try to keep two or three around.
