Mini-Rukus or Tyrade?

Well someone had to mention the JYD2 and now I'm in quite the conundrum! :confused: I had forgotten that I checked out a JYDII months ago and really liked it, though it wasn't the composite blade. Only problem with the JYD2 is I'd have to mod it for tip-up carry, maybe install a thumbstud and grind down the flipper... not a big fan of flippers. Man, I hate it when the only store that carries a good knife selection only has 1 or 2 of the 3 or 5 knives you want to compare! :D
 
If you're not a fan of flippers that kind of rules out the Tyrade in the first place...
 
Surprisingly, when I first handled the Tyrade it felt good. Then a few days ago I handled one again and this time it was nowhere near as comfortable. The only thing I can figure is the day was very hot and the drive took about an hour so maybe my hands swelled. I handled the Mini Rukus again and that was that. Sold!... kinda. I know we all need to make $ but they were asking the full MSRP! :eek: I expected this, but was hoping I'd be wrong. Anyway, I got home and ordered from Knifeworks. :thumbup:::) I should be getting it around Thursday. I feel like a kid expecting Christmas goodies! :) Thanks to everyone who chimed in with help.
