Mini Spay from W2. SOLD

This is the second Mini Spay built and I really like this one!

This one is made from W-2 just like is larger brother and comes with a kydex sheath for neck carry. Neon Green G-10 scales with Tan G-10 liners and Orange G-10 pins on this one and a subtly visible hamon!

The size of the Mini Spay is 5 1/2” overall length with a full flat 2 1/4” razor edge.

We used to use knives like this for castration of hogs and calves. Not sure how much people use it for that anymore, but it’s a useful shape.

Thanks! It is really intended for everyday small task edc use. I built it because I love traditional slip joint knives and my favorite blade shape from that period is the spay, which back in the day was used to castrate farm animals . It is a very useable shape for just about anything.

Ok, no problem. I'm thinking this will be a perfect skinning knife for my 9yr old son. He's wanting to get his first deer this year and this will be a good one for him to learn how to skin with.
