• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

mini survival knife (from M40)

That is a great idea. I think most of the little knives are over priced. But this one is worth every dime!

i saw this webpage a couple of months ago and gave it a try. seems like a really cool design for a "Mini-Kit". i made one but find it next to impossible to make it sharp, i tried every trick i know, still no luck. maybe others will have more luck. ---- Eric

There was someone on EDCForums who was making and selling these cheap. This kind of stuff makes me want a Harbor Freight belt sander more than ever!

That is awesome. I have a few used up hacksaw blades at home. I'll have to attemp this.

yup i am thinking of making one but lack the equipments! arggg....

Don't bother shaping the handle and blade bro, just wrap some duct-tape around as a makeshift handle then sharpen the edge with a file and sandpaper.....it still gets the jobs done just as well !!!!

thought of it and was thinking where can i find the equipment to use :D maybe i can use the school stuff! hehe

i have made several, i have away 8 or 9 in the pay it forward thread altogether i think.

like M40 i found a pile of cheap hacksaw blades so i broke them and made little blades from them.

i have one with my packing tape and one downstairs on the bench for cutting and scraping things that would hurt a knife.

i am able to get all of mine shaving sharp...

yea i have a siguy hacksaw knife awesome for just twine or tape or something similar i use it for leather aswell i have to take some pics of it, i even smo glued some leather to the sides to improve the feel

I had one like that held up to my left eye once at a traffic light (Pays to pay attention). The kid had apparently used a sidewalk to grind it to shape and wrapped the handle in tape. I got a really, really good look a it, all point, ratty edge. He didn't get my money BTW.
