Here's two from my EDC rotation that have not been getting much time lately. Both are great knives which have served me well. There are no issues with either knife. Lockup, centering, no blade play, except for some scratches they are perfect.
1. Mikkel Willumsen "one off" small camp W23 framelock. This is one extremely rugged little folder. Very thick liners and blade. Blade is 2.5 inches, overall open is just under six inches. Steel is CPM 154 with a stonewash finish. Scale side is ranger green G10. Perfect detent and IKBS makes for a smooth opening. This knife has been carried and used for some boxes and such. There are numerous light scratches on the clip and frame.
Price is $435, shipped in USA including paypal fee's:
2. Greg Lightfoot's Esaaba framelock. Interesting new design from Greg, so far only three have been made, the first 10 will be numbered, this one is marked #3. This one features a 3 inch 19C27 blade with some very cool grinds. Black G10 overlays on the titanium frame. Overall open is about 7.25 inches. Interesting on this one is also the Chris Reeves Mnandi clip- this is sort of Greg Lightfoot's tribute to Chris Reeve. As with all of Greg's knives, this one is very well designed and built. It's a framelock, but not too thick, combined with the Mnandi clip it makes for great office carry. This Esaaba has also been carried, however; I don't recall ever actually using it for anything. There are no marks at all on the blade, the ti frame does have some light scratches but are actually pretty hard to see.
Price on this one is $450, shipped in USA including paypal fees.
