I've wanted to make a tiny Higo for a while now. And with it I wanted to make a house for it to live in. So here it is.
This whole presentation is made entirely with hand tools. I forged out a piece of steel very thin and cut the blade and handle out with my jeweler's saw.
I filed the blade shape and bevels in. The box is all constructed from flat sheet. There is a wood inset with felt on top. And a flush set magnet holds the knife in place.
I had a lot of fun making this knife and box despite the work involved. The hours seemed to fly by. It was nice to make something a little different.
I hope you enjoy it.

Here are the specs:

The Knife

• my damascus (1084 + 15n20)
• copper handle
• stainless pin

• 2 1/16" open
• 1 1/2" closed (excluding flipper)
• 1" edge
• smidge over 1/32" thick at the spine

The Box

• textured and oxidized copper
• maple
• felt
• magnet

• 2 1/8" long
• 1 1/8" wide
• 11/16" tall

*** $415 + $10 shipping in the US ***
