Hi Folks,
I've started selling some things I make in my home shop and wanted to offer them here. I've got only a few things at the moment but there will be lots more items in the coming weeks and months. I machine things out of metal and plastics and I have a soft spot for LEDs and fiber optics and other glowing/colorful components. I build whatever random ideas pop in to my head and often end up with something completely impractical but unique. I'd appreciate any feedback/support/criticism to help me improve as I go along. 3. Mini Color Changing Fiber Optic LED Light

Grab a glass of whiskey, turn the lights down, put on some Coltrane and enjoy the ambiance of this Mini Color Changing Fiber Optic LED light. Turned from brass, this tiny gadget is barely big enough to contain the color changing LED, resistor and barrel jack. Plug in a 9V DC power supply (optional) and watch as the fiber strands light up and slowly morph between colors.
*Note: This item requires a 9V DC power supply with a 2.1 mm (x 5.5) barrel plug (center negative). This is a standard power supply for guitar pedals and can be found at any music store or can be included for an additional $18.

Hand turned on my lathe, these tops feature a brass body and a stainless steel stem with a 1.588 mm ceramic ball bearing at the tip for low friction and high durability.

Ships with one Zebra F refill (black). Replacements are inexpensive and easy to find.
