I have built up a collection of minimalist boots over the years on my quest to find what works best for me. These are the ones that for whatever reason never stayed in my rotation.

I typically wear size 11EE US. Some of these are sized weird (manufacturing variances and European conversions) so read carefully and I'll describe to the best of my ability how they fit for my 11+ sized feet.

All full leather boots (except for suede-out leather) have had at least one layer of Sno-Seal applied.

Most of these are low miles but my line of work has me out hiking in austere conditions regularly so don't expect new out of box conditions. I have plenty of pics. Let me know if you want to see anything in particular.

All sales will ship USPS Priority next day (except for weekends) for a $10 flat fee.

1. Lems Boulder Boot size 46 Timber colorway. First stab at Lems. Fit is right at size 11 utilizing a thin sock. I tested a small spot on the back of the left boot to see how the leather would take black leather dye. Low miles, heel slightly worn...Lems uses a soft rubber outsole on these $60.

2. Danner USMC Gore-Tex size 11XW. These fit at least 1/2 a size big. If you like to run thick wool socks, they may work for you. To me these feel more like a standard 12EE. I purchased them, took them straight to a cobbler and had them converted to my standard minimalist design. I had the metal shank removed, the heel-lift cushioned midsole exchanged for a zero drop slice of leather and the outsole glued and stitched back on. These can be resoled over and over as needed and are built like the old school Danner Acadia and Ft. Lewis's (where I learned that stitch down style boots could be modified) that I wore for years...very well. $130

3. Bellville MiniMil size 11.5W. Fit true to size. Solid boot that has quite the rep in the minimalist boot realm. New insoles. Low miles $110.

4. Feelmax Kuuva 5 size EU 45. Fit 1/2 size small on me. I think these are more like 10-10.5. One of my favorites but I needed something to replace these quickly and couldn't wait for the shipping and customs clearance these require. Insulated and warm, true zero drop minimal boots. These will likely be replaced with a larger size after I sell all these off. I got a little close with the heat gun when applying the sno-seal and melted the upper a bit. Also had a log attack the pull tab on the left boot...refer to photos. These are around $225 US dollars plus shipping from Europe. $140

5. Russell Moccasin Thula Thula all leather insulated. Fit 1/2 size small for me. best considered a 10-10.5 if you run a thick sock. Took a chance on Ebay (still crazy expensive) for sizing as I really wanted these to work. Swing and a miss. These are around $700 new and the waitlist is out 18 months last time I checked. I had them resoled with a more aggressive Vibram sole. $250.

I'll consider REASONABLE offers as well as trade offers. Keep in mind that a basic cobbler resole runs in the $110-150 range plus wait times. I think I've priced them fairly (I've been spending money buying and modifying boots to my likes for years, just ask my wife...) but let me know.

Thanks!
