Are you getting kind of a knocking clunking sound, or does the spindle have measurable run out?
Just curious because it could be gear slap. My mini mill has quite a bit so when I'm doing something heavier it can start sounding pretty bad. I may convert mine over to belt drive eventually.

already did belt swap and its worth every cent
i dripped a bit of spindle oil on the top bearing and its ok now but i know that is jsut a temp fix till the parts get here
i have a bridgeport too but some times i like jsut firing up the little mill for little work (oo and i use the mini mill mostly as a drill press since i dont yet have a true drill press )
