That knife is truly beautiful! Amazing work and craftsmanship. I love everything about it. The colored liners, the dark blade and bolsters, the wood grain, all of it just flows nicely. I will have to look into purchasing one of your knives in the future.
 
I was eyeballing this afternoon and checked out your website sir. i really like the nice clean lines of this knife. I was really impressed with the work you and your wife do together as well. This isnt the week that most of a paycheck is going to a knife...I suppose im happier having a sweetie this year than i was last year when I had disregarded women and acquired toys. I need to thin my production herd out a bit and hang is this forum more.
 
Never heard of sd 11, what kind of steel is it? Beautiful knife as always Jim, great fit and finish.

SD-11 is a steel about like D-2 tool steel, it will accept the black oxide very well, hardness runs 57-59 Rockwell,also thank you for the compliment.
