I have a MINTY C2O spearpoint made by Kit Carson, Jody Carson and Mike Obenauf for sale.
Serial no #107. Has a spearpoint S30V blade with a gorgeous handrubbed satin finish, great grinds and a hair-popping sharp edge (ouch!
)! Fit and finish is typical Carson - erfect in every way - centred blade, zero bladeplay, perfect lock-up, no marks, great ball detent (it just sucks in like a magnet), super glassy smooth opening / closing. The spearpoint blade is my favourite blade shape amongst those offered in the series.
What's also special is that this is in the semi-smooth handle configuration, not the usual heavily-milled handle finish. Not so common, although I have seen one or two others.
Kit/Jody/Mike have said that they no longer make this design...I figure I got one of the last ones when I got it earlier this year.
I'm having a really hard time letting this go, plus there are not many spearpoints and semi-smooth handles in the market, so the price reflects that.
