Here is an exceptional piece that David had at Blade but it was not completed

It’s in my Blade Show Video and it was one of my favorites if not my favorite from the whole show

It’s amazingly lively in the hand and truly an example of how good a big blade can feel

This blade is on another level and I am hop8ng yo have him do something similar fir me in the future

It was one of those pieces that you wish you could of gotten

He took it home and finished the hard Saya for it and it went to its lucky owner

Wanted you all to get a chance to see it

On it way to its new home

Very unique looking knife. Would love to know lenght and thickness of the blade.

Nice EVO! I noticed the banana boards, I run the XL’s on my RGS.

I love the San mai on that blade.

Man, that would slice and dice!!!!

Thanks, Joe....sure have been quiet lately....David and I were talking about you, all good of course. :D ;)

Wow that is a beautiful piece! Amazing Hamon.

Joe a little more info on dimensions and materials would be much appreciated.;)

I’ll get specs guys

I’ve been hammered of late with work and trying to get kids out on some trips

Kids grow so quick if ya don’t do stuff with them the time is lost

Here is a pic of a boat we restored and recently got out for a trip

Was excited to see this one at Blade, also. Pretty darn fine piece. I certainly would have been interested in taking it home.

This was a fun one. It really turned out nice. A little departure from my usual.

The stainless/W2 Blade is 12 3/4”. OAL is about 19””. Lightning Strike carbon fiber / bronze guard, spacer.
Handle is Carbon fiber over Alaska yellow cedar. Carbon fiber wrap. Ancient walrus ivory pommel.

The saya is my usual carbon fiber over Alaska yellow cedar.

Thanks for the comments guys...

Knife: Typical and characteristic ultra-badass.

Motorcycle: I'm unclear: Does this have an ALASKA plate on it or a PENNSYLVANIA plate on it?

Hey Jim, My bike has an ALASKA plate, Always will...

Now it's time to get to the shop before it gets too hot to work...
