David made me a kake to display my sword that's a piece of Art in itself....

The stand is made from an ancient Walrus jawbone that he split and the rejoined with a piece of Alaskan yellow Cedar wrapped in carbon-fiber, using the same kind of elements used in the sword.

This isn't its final place of honor but I just had to put it all together for a quick...and nasty...cell-phone picture. I could just see my cats wanting to climb around on this.
