It is indeed a walleye. Of course, up here, people call them pickerel.
I live in northern Ontario, about 225mi./350km north of Thunder Bay. If you've got a map, I live almost dead centre in Ontario.
With a little luck, I'll be moving out of here and relocating to northern Alberta, not far from Fort McMurray. Once I get the lay of the land, I'll extend an invitation to any forumites who want to come up for hunting and fishing. Of course, If anyone is interested in heading up here to go fishing, I'd be happy to help you organise your trip. Basically, once you're up here, all you have to do is pay for gas, and you can catch all the fish you want.
