We are all guilty of this and I'm sure there are perfectly good reasons for it like posting at 3 in the morning or having one to many alcoholic beverages. Let's see some examples of bad spelling and better yet throw in some bad grammar ones too :)

The to / too thing is one I find myself making on occasion. Knifes instead of knives usually (but not always) shows up in posts from people who's native language is not English.

The only one that really gets under my skin (on a knife forum no less) is knive/knifes.

I suspect that often times it's the keyboard's fault, cause I don't make mistakes.

The ones that really get me is the whole your/you're and their/there/they're usage. The to/too is not nearly as annoying.

And what is this pr0n thing? If I want to see knife porn, I want to see knife porn. Same goes with Girlz, and "Bewbies" is a disrespectful way of addressing one of God's most beautiful creations. :D

I guess I'd rather see intentional misspelling, rather than just plain ignorance or stupidity, though. I've used "Sammich" on occasion, and the toned down use of the word "phuck" is much less harsh on the senses than the proper word.

Anyways, for me I'd rather spend an extra bit of time running my reply through spell check, rather than risk coming across as uneducated. Well, most of the time... (note three "..." rather than the incorrect use of more)

And what is this pr0n thing?

Pr0n

Pr0n is slang for pornography.[1] This is a deliberately inaccurate spelling/pronunciation for porn,[14] where a zero is often used to replace the letter O. It is sometimes used in legitimate communications (such as email discussion groups, Usenet, chat rooms, and internet web pages) to circumvent language and content filters, which may reject messages as offensive or spam. The word also helps prevent search engines from associating commercial sites with pornography, which might result in unwelcome traffic.

This is deja vu all over again. :D

The one that kind of bothers me may be a regional thing. "I have this knife for sell" The word is sale as in "I have this knife for sale."

Then, there is, "I want to sell my knive with a sheet." I see that on eBay fairly
often.

Bad grammar makes me [sic].

Definatly instead of definitely was my latest today...
It's OK, public edumacation learned me good!
