Hi all,

Nice to be back after a long time, I'd like some oppinions please... I recently ordered and payed for 2 balisongs from knifezilla.com. I paid by credit card and then as usual waited by the letterbox for about 3 weeks willing them to come faster. After 6 weeks and they still hadnt turned up I contacted Josh at Knifezilla wondering where they were... He told me he was running behind and to be patient... well we all run behind every so often so that wasnt a problem. After a further 6 weeks one of the knives turned up but the other was missing... after a further month it still hadnt arrived I contacted Knifezilla again... Now forgive if i'm wrong but i seem to be getting fobbed of by this guy... Be patient...a few more days... its just a $10 knife stop worrying... its now over 3 months and the knife hasnt arrived and im sick of emailing this guy... i paid for somthing and didnt receive it...what would you do?

cheers

This is pretty standard for Josh, I've seen posts like your for _years_.

If you haven't been charged (call you CC company) then order the knives from someone else, if you have been charged, do a charge back then order from someone else.

Waiting three Months for a $10.00 knife makes no sense to me. Your only recourse is Small Claims as the time to contest the charge and request a CC chargeback has long passed.

Use the telephone and call Josh at Knifezilla. Negotiaite a fair resolution and allow this to serve as a reminder that in the future, a knife costing $10 best be in stock, and best ship immediately. If not, you will ask for a credit card chargeback 29 days after placing said order!!!

Thanks for you replys,

Thing is... this wasnt a $10 knife... OK it was no benchmade... but at $30 for a new Jaguar I would expect it to turn up...

He is conveniently now ignoring my emails so i guess i lost that one.

I'll know better in future! Anyone know of somwhere more reliable that will ship to the UK

thanks and Beware!!!!

I thought you could do a charge back within like 180 days or so. That's how the Russians are ripping people off. They order something and then months later do a charge back and keep the merchandise. I think that's how it went anywho.

ps. I'm not saying every Russian does this, just the scumbags.
edited to clear up which Russians I was talking about.

Yep, charge backs are allowed for up to 180 days. I am pretty sure that is the case with all the major credit card issuers.

Having your c.c. number lifted can cause you havoc, even if you do not have to pay for personal damage, ( Charges etc ) . Had a guy down the street that gew up being a basic little snot of older parents. They always said it was never our boy. He sold drugs, got hooked and use to run up and down the street yelling at dealers who had just sold him baking soda or what ever. They put him through rehab, it worked kind of he was now 38 ( I have lived here a long time ).About a year ago I was up a 5 AM for something my Jack Russel heard. I looked out the window and there were FBI guys with door smashers, shot guns, etc. I found out our neighbors son now was deep into identity theft. Deep enough to get a couple of years at state. There must be money in it !
As for your knife do like the previous have suggested. I would only file a dispute to name the company to make sure they are not the collectors of personal information ( which they all do , even when they say they do not ) .If they are on file it makes it easier to make your findings provable.Take the total amount, if you were charged and devide it by the days you have waited and now write it off. I know you want your knife. So this being life and an inconvience, buy it elsewhere. Save up if you have patience and get an entry level piece from one of the makers listed here on the Forum, they will not do you harm.
