This MPK is one of the first ten,I believe, made from A2 tool steel. They were Sietmann machine ground in upstate New York. The designation MPK S denotes steel and our first look at a steel blade. Value; only to a collector as part of MIssion's History. It is ,however,a very good Bowie with a lot of camping years in it.
My Best,---- John John R.Moore President,Mission Knives & Tools Inc.
I am looking to trade it for others tactical fixed blade.
Thanks,
Molletta
